Sacapulas ceremonial cinta (hair ribbon).
This cinta was hand woven on a back-strap loom in one maroon cotton and silk weft-striped panel. The surface
decoration is supplementary brocade in silk. Each end has silk tassels. The use of silk indicates ceremonial use. This rare item is highly collectable
and in excellent condition. It was acquired from a private collection in Guatemala. W 9 x L 272 cm plus pom-poms. (18-91) $280. OBO
