(center) This circa-1980 cinta was hand woven on a back-strap loom specially adapted to the purpose in one predominantly mauve cotton, weft-striped panel. The surface decoration is brocade in silk. Each end has three all silk tassels. This rare item is highly collectable and in very good condition. It was acquired from Petronila Mendez Bocó of Santa Maria de Jesus at her stall in the Mercado de Artesanos in Antigua. W 9 x 245 cm plus tassels. (15-313) $ 300. OBO
