Rabinal daily huipil.

This post-1980 huipil was hand woven on a back strap loom in two blue cotton base panels. These panels are decorated with supplementary brocade featuring vertical zigzags typical of Rabinal huipils. Rabinal huipils are uncommon, if not rare. This huipil is in very good condition. It was acquired from Petronila Mendez Bocó at the Mercado des Artesanos in Antigua. W 82 x L 72 cm. (15-86) $ 85. OBO
