Quetzaltenango daily huipil.
W92 x L126 cm opened. This post-1980 daily huipil was hand woven on a foot treadle loom in 3 white cotton base panels. The
panels are joined by hand embroidered decorative seams using a broad chain stitch. The great majority of these huipils
have the panels joined by machine embroidery. The supplementary brocade decoration features a variety of geometric motifs.
It is in excellent condition. It was collected from Bonifacia Mendez Boco of Santa Maria de Jesus. (8-68) $ 100. SOLD.
