Quetzaltenango wedding huipil. W123 x L276 cm opened. This contemporary wedding huipil was hand woven on a back strap loom in three white cotton gauze panels. The panels are joined by hand embroidered decorative seams. It also has a hand embroidered collar added. The panels are decorated with white supplementary rayon brocade in bird, plant and geometric motifs. This huipil has reputedly been used once.
