Quetzaltenango rebozo (shawl)
W74 x L192 cm plus fringe. This post-1980 rebozo was hand woven, probably on a foot treadle loom in one cotton panel. It features ikat chevrons typical of Quetzaltenago rebozos. The fringe is hand knotted warp threads at both ends. It is in excellent condition. It was collected from Tomasa Calbo Mateo of Chichicastenango.
