Quetzaltenango vintage rebozo (shawl).

This pre-1980 rebozo was hand woven on a back strap loom in one warp-striped cotton panel. It features ikat chevrons typical of Quetzaltenago rebozos, here in indigo. The fringes are hand knotted warp threads. It is old, soft and well cared for. It is in very good condition. It was acquired from the Estefana Culajah at the La Fuente textile market in Antigua.
