Quetzaltenango rebozo (shawl).

This post-1980 rebozo was hand woven on a back strap loom in one warp-striped cotton panel. It features ikat chevrons typical of Quetzaltenago rebozos, here in indigo. The fringes are hand knotted warp threads. It is in very good condition. It was acquired from the Centro des Textiles Tradicionales Nim Po’t in Antigua. W 69 x L 186 cm plus fringes. (15-198) $ 110.
