Quetzaltenango rebozo (shawl).

This post-1980 rebozo was hand woven on a back strap loom in one warp-striped cotton panel. It features ikat chevrons typical of Quetzaltenago rebozos, here in indigo. The fringes are finely hand knotted warp threads. It is in excellent condition. It was acquired from Ema and Carmen Tepeú at the La Fuente textile market in Antigua. W 74 x L 184 cm plus fringes.
