Quetzaltenango rebozo (shawl).

This post-1980 rebozo was hand woven on a back strap loom in one warp-striped cotton panel. It features ikat chevrons typical of Quetzaltenago rebozos, here in indigo. The fringes are finely hand knotted warp threads with a complete set of pom-poms attached. It is in very good condition. It was acquired from the Centro des Textiles Tradicionales Nim Po’t in Antigua. W 73 x L 172 cm plus fringes and pom-poms. (15-192) $ 90. OBO
