Patzún ceremonial huipil. This beautiful circa-1980 huipil was hand woven on a back strap loom in two wide, warp-striped cotton panels
that are joined by multi-colored decorative seams. The head opening is surrounded by hand embroidery, all in silk. Patzun ceremonial
huipils with silk embroidery are rare. This example is in excellent condition. It was acquired from an important private collection
in Antigua Guatemala. W 126 x L 56 cm. (19-21) $ 400. OBO.
