Patzún daily huipil. W86 x L114 cm opened. This post-1980 daily huipil was hand woven on a back strap loom in two “aleman” panels – a combination of cotton and rayon prized for its softness and drape. The panels are joined by hand embroidered decorative seams and feature extensive hand embroidered decoration in the floral motif. It is excellent condition. It was collected from Elena Batz of Patzún at the La Fuente market in Antigua Guatemala. (10-76) $ 90. Sold.
