Patzún daily huipil.
This post-1980 huipil was hand woven on a back strap loom in two cotton/rayon blend warp-striped panels joined by “randas”, hand embroidered decorative seams,
here as florettes. This base material is known as “aleman” and is prized for its softness and drape. This huipil features extensive hand embroidered
decoration in the floral motif. It is very good condition. It was acquired from Estefana Culajah of Patzún at the La Fuente textile market in Antigua
Guatemala. W82 x L54 cm. (10-75) $ 90.
