Patzicía ceremonial huipil.

The circa-1980 ceremonial huipil was hand woven on a back strap loom in 2 balanced red cotton panels joined by hand embroidered decorative seams. It features thin warp stripes in ixcaco – hand spun naturally brown cotton. Patzicía ceremonial huipils are very rare, especially with ixcaco decoration. It is in very good condition. It was acquired from the Nim Po't Collection of Antigua Guatemala. W97 x L110 cm opened. (8-93) $ 120. OBO
