Patzicia ceremonial huipil.

This huipil was hand woven on a back-strap loom in two very well-matched, warp-striped panels. Some “ixcaco” warp threads; hand spun, undyed, naturally brown cotton. All the surface decoration is supplementary brocade in silk. This unique example is exceptionally long for a Patzicia ceremonial huipil. It is in like new condition. Acquired from a private collection in Guatemala. W 104 x L 77 cm. (18-37) $ 400. OBO
