Palin ceremonial huipil. W86 x L96 cm opened. This post-1980 huipil was hand woven on a back strap loom in a single white and red cotton panel. It is decorated with supplementary brocade featuring the double headed eagle and animal motifs. It is relatively large for a Palin huipil and the design is that used by participants in cofradia society cermenonies. Ceremonial Palin huipils are increasingly rare. It is in excellent condition.
