Nebaj vintage huipil.

This circa 1960 huipil was hand woven on a back strap loom in two white cotton panels decorated with supplementary brocade featuring bird, animal and human motifs. The base thread is hand spun. The traditional Nebaj collar design is hand embroidered. This very fine example is in good condition. It was acquired from Juana Mateo Rosales at her stall in Tinamit Maya in Panajachel.
