This circa-1980 faja was hand woven on a back strap loom in the red, black and white cotton warp stripes traditional in Nebaj fajas. It is heavily decorated by supplementary brocade with animal, bird and geometric motifs. It is in very good condition. It was acquired from Ana Carolina Ajanel of Chichicastenango.
