Nahualá daily huipil.

This circa-1980 daily huipil was hand woven on a back strap loom in two well matched white cotton panels decorated with supplementary brocade in cotton and rayon. The panels are joined by a hand embroidered decorative seams and feature "pavo real" motifs. The red in the brocade has stained the white base, an intentional feature typical of older Nahualá huipils. It is in very good condition. It was acquired from Estefana Culajah of Patzun. W82 x L130 cm opened. (8-117) $ 65. OBO
