Nahualá cargador (carrying cloth).
This post-1980 cargador was hand woven on a back strap loom in two warp striped cotton panels. It features extensive use of “ixcaco”, hand-spun undyed naturally
brown cotton. The base weft threads are dyed with indigo. Nahualá cargadors with ixcaco are rare. It is in excellent condition. It was acquired from Ema and
Carmen Tepeu of San Pedro Sacatepequez (G) at the La Fuente textile market in Antigua Guatemala. W 87 x L 97cm. (7-309) $ 60. OBO
