Nahuala men’s ceremonial pants.
These pants were tailored from cotton material hand woven on a back strap loom. The thread used is hand spun. They are for use in ceremonies
of the Nahuala cofradia society. All examples are very ample. They feature ten figures of horses near the hem of each leg in red that has intentionally
faded on to the white background, a style unique to Nahuala. They have a drawstring at the waist. Pants like these are rare. They are in very good
condition. They were collected from Florinda Raxtun Garcia of Panajachel. W90 x L76 cm. (6-569) $48. OBO
