Hand woven on a back strap loom in 2 hand spun cotton panels joined by a hand embroidered decorative
seam. Supplementary brocade in cotton and rayon. Intentional red stain. Rare. Cofradia society use. Abstract double headed eagle central motif surrounded
by plumed serpent and bird motifs and “caballitos” in each corner. Pre 1980. Very good condition. Collected from Ana Carolina Ajanel of Chichicastenango.
