Nahualá men's ceremonial faja (sash).

Hand woven on a back strap loom in cotton. The base is indigo dyed with narrow magenta warp stripes. Both ends are decorated with supplementary brocade featuring double-headed eagle and plumed serpent motifs. It is in excellent condition. Circa 1970. From the collection of Joan Jacobson of Tucson.
