Nahuala unique daily huipil.
Vintage style – wide and long, circa 1980. It was hand woven on a back strap loom in two white cotton panels decorated with well-matched supplementary
brocade featuring animal motifs, more on the back than the front. But in an uncharacteristic innovation, the creator of this huipil has added hand
embroidered decorations in floral patterns. This unique example is in excellent condition.
The collar is in the t-shape traditional in Nahualá. It was acquired from Sr. Sebastian Huarcas in Solola. W 100 x L 87 cm. (20-63) $ 175 or best offer.
