Nahuala ceremonial/cofradia men's head tzute.

This circa-1980 tzute was hand woven on a back strap loom in two white cotton panels joined by a hand embroidered decorative seam. The panels are decorated with supplementary brocade in cotton and rayon featuring double-headed eagle motifs in the center and bird motifs in each corner. These tzutes are rare. This one is in very good condition. It was acquired from an important private collection in Antigua. W 106 x L 135 cm. (19-183) $ 175 or best offer.
