Nahualá cargador (carrying cloth).
This post-1980 cargador was hand woven on a back-strap loom in two warp-striped cotton panels. It features warp stripes that are ixcaco, hand-spun
naturally brown cotton and of indigo dyed thread. Nahualá cargadors with ixcaco and indigo are rare. This cargador is in very good condition.
It was acquired from Sra. Tomasa Calbo Mateo at the “bomberos” textile market in Panajachel. W 114 x L 160 cm. (19-171) $110 or best offer.
