Nahuala daily huipil.

This fine circa-1980 huipil was hand woven on a back strap loom in two matched white cotton base panels that are joined by hand embroidered decorative seams. The surface decoration is by supplementary brocade primarily featuring universal diamond motifs in the “petate” style.. This huipil has the traditional T-shaped head opening unique to Nahuala huipils, trimmed with hand embroidered chain stitch. It is in excellent condition.
