Nahualá ceremonial huipil.

This circa-1980 huipil is considered ceremonial because of its three panel construction that features a large double-headed eagle motif in the center panel. This huipil was hand woven on a back strap loom in three white cotton panels decorated with supplementary brocade in cotton and rayon (to mimic silk). This superior example is in very good condition. It was acquired from the collection of Richard Stanton that he assembled while living in Guatemala. W69 x L69 cm. (18-17) $ 100. OBO
