Nahuala ceremonial huipil.

This pre-1980 huipil was hand woven on a back-strap loom in three black cotton panels. These panels are decorated with supplementary brocade featuring double-headed eagle motifs. This is the “kashlan po’t” ceremonial style. This fine example is in very good condition. It was acquired from Sra. Tomasa Calbo Mateo at the “bomberos” textile market in Panajachel. W 94 x L 64 cm. (17-28) $ 95. OBO
