Nahualá cargador (carrying cloth).
This post-1980 cargador was hand woven on a back-strap loom in two warp-striped
cotton panels that are joined by a hand embroidered decorative seam. It features extensive ixcaco, hand-spun naturally
brown cotton. Nahualá cargadors with ixcaco are rare. This exceptional item is in excellent condition. It was acquired
from Petronila Mendez Bocó of
Santa Maria de Jesus at her stall in the Mercado de Artesanos in Antigua. W 125 x L 140 cm. (15-304) Was $ 300. Now $ 240 OBO.
