Nahuala ceremonial huipil.

This post-1980 huipil was hand woven on a back-strap loom in three indigo-dyed, warp-striped cotton panels. These panels are decorated with supplementary brocade featuring double-headed eagle motifs. This is the “kashlan po’t” ceremonial style. This fine example is in excellent condition. From Petronila Mendez Bocó at her stall in the Mercado des Artesanos in Antigua. W 88 x L 62 cm. (15-246) $ 200. OBO
