Nahualá men's ceremonial faja (sash).
This post-1980 faja was hand woven on a back strap loom in cotton. The base is indigo dyed with narrow magenta
warp stripes. Both ends are decorated with supplementary brocade featuring double-headed eagle motifs. This faja is in excellent condition. It was
acquired from Juana Mateo Rosales at her stall on Calle Santander in Panajachel. W27 x L250 cm. (14-97) $125. OBO
