Nahuala daily huipil.

This post-1980 huipil was hand woven on a back strap loom in two warp-striped cotton panels joined by hand embroidered decorative seams. These panels are dyed blue with indigo natural dye. The surface decoration is supplementary brocade in cotton featuring a band of double-headed eagle motifs. This huipil is in excellent condition. It was acquired from Ana Carolina Ajanel of Chichicastenango. W 82 x 65 cm. (13-41) $80. OBO
