This large post-1980 tzute was hand woven on a back strap loom in two warp striped panels that are joined by a hand embroidered decorative seam. Each panel is decorated with bird, animal and plant motifs in supplementary brocade. This fine example is in excellent condition. It was acquired from Manuela Marroquin of Nahualá at the La Fuente textile market in Antigua Guatemala. W 118 x L 121 cm opened. (11-212) $ 160. OBO
