Joyabaj huipil.

This circa-2000 huipil was hand woven on a back strap loom in two predominantly black, warp-striped cotton blend base panels. The neck and arm holes are surrounded by hand embroidered circles of decoration typical of Joyabaj huipils. The embroidery on this huipil is very extensive.
