Cubulco daily huipil. W 84 x L 114 cm opened. This huipil was hand woven on a back strap loom in two cotton/acrylic blend panels. These panels are decorated with rows of hand embroidery circling the head and arm openings. These openings are also trimmed in crochet. Cubulco huipils are very rare and this is about the best one we have seen so far. It is in very good condition. It was acquired from Tomasa Calbo Mateo at the “bomberos” textile market in Panajachel.
