Cotzal rebozo.

This post-2000 rebozo was hand woven on a back strap loom in two warp-striped cotton panels. The surface decoration is supplementary brocade featuring bird, plant and geometric motifs. It has finely hand knotted fringes on both warp ends. This well woven example is in excellent condition. It was acquired from Maria Pol of Chichicastenango at the “bomberos” textile market in Panajachel. W 96 x L 194 plus fringes. (15-188) $ 175. OBO
