Concepcion Chicarichapa daily huipil.

This huipil was hand woven on a back strap loom in two well-balanced black cotton panels decorated with supplementary brocade featuring the exuberant bird and plant designs typical of Chicarichapa huipils. Huipils from Chicarichapa are not common. This beautiful example is in very good condition. It was acquired from Sra. Carmen Tepeú at the La Fuente textile market in Antigua Guatemala.
