San Juan Comalapa daily huipil.

This post-1980 huipil was hand woven on a back strap loom in two black cotton blend base panels. The surface decoration is supplementary weft brocade and well balanced in a classic Comalapa design. It is in very good condition. This fine example was acquired from Juana Escalon at the La Fuente textile market in Antigua. W 78 x L 67 cm. (15-50) $ 95. OBO
