San Juan Comalapa daily huipil. This post-1980 huipil was hand woven on a back strap loom in two white cotton blend base panels. The surface decoration is supplementary weft brocade. Red stripes across the shoulders are the most standard traditional feature of Comalapa huipils. This example is very well balanced. It is in very good condition.
