This post-1980 morral was made from Colotenango wrap skirt panels that were back strap loomed and decorated with geometric motifs in supplementary brocade. This example features a knotted fringe. It is in very good condition. It was acquired from Bonifacia Mendez Bocó of Santa Maria de Jesus at her tienda in the Mercado des Artesanos in Antigua Guatemala. W 32 x L 32 cm plus fringe.
