Colotenango faja (sash). W 17 x L 198 cm plus knotted fringe and tassels. This post-1980 faja was hand woven on a back strap loom predominantly in red but with multicolored warp stripes. It decorated on both ends with supplementary brocade in designs typical of Colotenango huipils. It is in very good condition. It was acquired at Tipicos Lety on Calle Santander in Panajachel.
