Coban daily huipil. This post-2000 huipil was hand woven on a back strap loom in three white cotton base panels. These panels feature gauze sections and rows of bird and diamond motifs in supplementary brocade. The head and arm openings are surrounded by hand embroidered rosettes. Coban huipils are popular with women throughout the Maya area. This fine example is in excellent condition.
