Coban daily huipil. This post-2000 daily huipil was hand woven on a back strap loom in three loose white cotton
base panels that have gauze sections. These panels have motifs that suggest birds on corn plants. Because of
their lightness, Coban huipils are now worn widely by Maya women. This example was acquired from Ema and Carmen
Tepeú at the La Fuente textile market in Antigua. W96 x L50 cm. (15-38) $ 80. OBO
