Coban blusa.

This contemporary blusa features hand embroidery in floral motifs around the head and arm openings utilizing a wrapped needle technique. The embroidery is backed with a cotton lining. The head and arm openings are also trimmed with black velvet. The base material is a light, porous ivory commercial lace fabric believed to be a cotton blend. These blouses have become popular with Maya women throughout Guatemala because of their light weight. This blusa is in excellent condition.
