We estimate that this item dates from roughly 1950, regardless of its excellent condition. It was woven on a back-strap loom in two warp-striped cotton panels employing hand-spun threads and natural dyes. Some warp stripes in ixcaco – hand spun naturally brown cotton. Some silk embroidery.
