Hand woven on a foot treadle loom in two equal weft striped cotton panels joined by thick hand embroidered decorative seams in silk. The use of silk indicates ceremonial use. It also features ikat dye patterns in indigo in the weft stripes. Circa 1980. This fine example is in excellent condition. From the collection of Joan Jacobson of Tucson.
