Chichicastenango rebozo. (shawl).

This post-2000 rebozo was hand woven on a back strap loom in two predominantly red warp-striped cotton panels, joined by a hand embroidered decorative seam. The warp stripes contain beautiful ikat patterns representing owls and butterflies. This rebozo is in excellent condition. It was acquired from Froilana Vasquez from San José Nacahuil at the La Fuente textile market in Antigua. W 120 x L 117 cm plus fringes. (15-189) $85. OBO
