Chajul corte (wrap skirt).

Hand woven on a foot treadle loom in two matching red cotton panels, one much wider than the other. It features very subtle ikat dye patterns. These Chajul style cortes are increasingly uncommon, especially in all cotton. Circa 1980. This example is in very good condition. From the collection of Joan Jacobson of Tucson. W 111 x L 340 cm. 21-252. $ 100 or best offer.
