Chajul faja (sash/belt).

This circa 1980 faja was hand woven on a back strap loom in one red cotton panel decorated on both ends with supplementary brocade in diamond patterns. It has complete sets of elaborately hand knotted fringes with small pom-poms on each end. It is in very good condition. It was acquired from an anonymous private collection in Guatemala.
